which hosts 3 anonymous and mysterious clavichords, all of them discovered in France. One was put together from fragments which look 16th century, another one is unfretted with a 1601 name and date tag (!), overpainted sometime in the 18th century but with the old decoration preserved on the nameboard and below the keys; the third one was a beautiful and evidently 18th century diatonically unfretted clavichord. All three instruments will need additional professional judgment as to their dating and provenience.
